Aljoscha Kemlein is a calm and technically German skilled defensive midfielder who came up through Union’s academy from 2016 onwards. He made his Bundesliga debut in August 2023, and after a productive loan spell at FC St. Pauli in early 2024.
After returning from St. Pauli with 17 appearances, he made 15 Bundesliga appearances for Union in the 2024–25 season, including scoring his first senior goal against Holstein Kiel. Kemlein is a youth international for Germany, having played up to the Germany U19s.
